Schedule: 2nd shift and weekends

Job Description

An exciting contract-to-hire opportunity for a recent college graduate eager to start a career in Information Technology. The IT Support Technician will provide exceptional technical support to end users, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and peripherals. Support will be delivered remotely via phone, email, and messaging applications, including responding to, documenting, and resolving service tickets promptly.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical support to end users via phone, remote access, or messaging applications.
  2. Use problem-solving skills to diagnose, evaluate, and resolve complex issues or escalate them as needed.
  3. Support multiple platforms including desktops, laptops, POS systems, mobile devices, proprietary software, and basic networking equipment.
  4. Support Windows, Microsoft, and Active Directory environments.
  5. Maintain high customer service standards and adhere to service management principles.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or relevant experience/internship.
  • Preferred certifications: A+ Computer, Network+.
  • Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Phone support experience is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience with MS Office and Active Directory is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • High sense of urgency and a proactive attitude.
