IT Support Specialist
Overland Park, KS | Full-Time | Onsite
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | $55,000-$65,000 annually + Benefits

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on IT Support Specialist to join our team and serve as a key onsite resource for day-to-day technology needs. This position is ideal for someone who is technically capable, highly dependable, and enjoys working directly with people to solve problems and keep the business running smoothly.
You will provide support across hardware, software, user accounts, devices, and several business applications. You'll work closely with employees at all levels of the organization and will have the support and technical mentorship of our Director of IT for more complex issues.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for IT support requests
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows computers, laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, headsets, and other peripherals
- Diagnose audio, video, connectivity, VPN, and network-related issues
- Set up, configure, image, and deploy computers and other technology equipment
- Manage user accounts, passwords, MFA, permissions, licenses, and access
- Support administration of Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, HubSpot, and Calendly
- Assist with device enrollment, application deployment, and basic device management
- Maintain accurate equipment and asset records
- Prepare technology and accounts for new hires and assist with employee onboarding
- Complete technology-related offboarding, including account access removal and equipment recovery
- Maintain a ready supply of spare equipment for quick replacements
- Document support issues, solutions, and procedures
- Escalate complex or specialized technical issues appropriately
- Provide hands-on support for network and equipment needs as directed by our IT leadership and vendors
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with computers, hardware, peripherals, docking stations, and networking equipment
- Experience supporting user accounts and access within platforms such as Microsoft 365, Entra ID, or Google Workspace
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills with both technical and non-technical employees
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Consistent follow-through and documentation habits
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable onsite attendance
- Ability to lift and move technology equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
Preferred Experience
- Microsoft Intune and/or Entra ID administration
- Google Workspace administration
- HubSpot or other CRM administration
- Experience supporting a call center or phone-based workforce
- Experience with ticketing and asset management systems
- CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or Google certifications
- Experience working in insurance, financial services, or another regulated environment
