Basic Requirement:

Individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the following four competencies:

1. Attention to Detail: Be thorough and conscientious about attending to detail.
2. Customer Service: Work with clients and customers to assess needs, provide information or assistance, resolve problems, or satisfy expectations. Know about available products and services; committed to quality.
3. Oral Communication: Effectively express information to individuals or groups, considering the audience and nature of the information. Make clear presentations, listen, and respond appropriately.
4. Problem Solving: Identify problems, evaluate information, use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and make recommendations.

You qualify if you meet the basic requirements and have one year of specialized experience as described below.

GS-13 Grade Level Experience:

One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 or similar performing duties such as:

• Applying new IT security developments to update guidelines.
• Applying project management principles for future IT infrastructure planning.
• Processing engineering concepts to meet standards.
• Supporting infrastructure implementation to secure the environment.

Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date and are subject to verification.

Additional Information:

Volunteer Experience: Paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work through programs like Peace Corps or AmeriCorps, counts toward qualifying experience.
