Job Description And Duties

Under the direction of the Department of State Hospitals (DSH) Technology Services Division (TSD) Information Technology Manager I, the Information Technology Specialist I will serve as the Contract Manager for all DSH contracts. The incumbent will serve as a subject matter expert in the areas of state contracts and procurement. The incumbent ensures Information Technology contract management best practices, processes and procedures are consistently applied to the highly technical projects and will effectively apply the principles of purchasing, contract management, personnel management; and the regulations and procedures as prescribed California State Information Management Manual (SIMM).

Incumbent must be able to travel to all DSH sites.
