Job summary

Eataly is seeking a senior IT Specialist to evaluate and implement IT strategy across its USA stores and Corporate office. The role reports to the Director of IT and operates autonomously to advise leadership on IT needs and structure.

Responsibilities include developing SOPs, managing IT projects, supporting store openings, maintaining POS systems, and resolving technical issues with a focus on uptime and user satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• +3 years of related IT experience.
• Specialized knowledge in computer systems analysis.
• Outstanding time management and organization skills.
• Excellent communication, motivation and team-building skills.

• Develops and implements standard operating procedures and service level agreements.
• Manages IT projects from start to finish.
• Advises management regarding and supports IT infrastructure and other needs for several Eataly USA locations (stores and Corporate office).
• Supports implementation of technology during new store openings and new store system implementation initiatives.
• Manages services for the day-to-day POS systems and ensures performance and stability of in-store POS applications.
• Provides support and resolution to customer service requests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Analyzes system issues, provides resolutions and is integral in development and enhancement of IT systems.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Job Description

As a senior member of Eataly’s Information Technology (IT) team, the IT Specialist is primarily responsible for evaluating and implementing IT strategy and solutions for several Eataly USA locations (stores and Corporate office), and for providing advice to upper-level management about Eataly’s IT needs and structure. The IT Specialist reports to the Director ofIT, but works autonomously, without specific directions from senior managers and without immediate supervision.

Compensation: Pay range is set from $24 - $30 an hour.
