Job summary

The Eliassen Group is seeking an IT Project Manager II to lead cross-functional IT and Supply Chain initiatives in a hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC. You will drive delivery on-time, within scope and budget, using Agile methodologies and strong stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, maintaining roadmaps, mitigating risks, and aligning IT/data teams with business priorities to optimize processes and data-driven solutions in a complex enterprise

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in IT and/or Supply Chain.
• PMP or ACP certification is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and PM tools.
• PMI-ACP or PMP certification preferred.

IT Project Manager II | Hybrid (3 days onsite - Charlotte, NC)

Rate: $50/hr - $55/hr

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives within the IT and Supply Chain domains. This role focuses on inventory management, business process optimization, and data-driven technology solutions, including data fabric and AI components. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Agile project delivery, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a proven ability to drive complex projects to successful completion—on time, within scope, and on budget.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple projects across different teams, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Apply Agile methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor progress, fostering adaptability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee change control processes and manage impacts to scope, schedule, and cost across multiple projects.
• Act as a strategic liaison between business units and IT/data teams, ensuring business priorities guide delivery.
• Coach business unit leads to support delivery teams effectively and ensure timely execution.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, roadmaps, schedules, and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and remove impediments to ensure smooth execution.
• Identify, log, and mitigate project risks, issues, and decisions; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, audit, and internal PMO standards, as well as company policies and industry best practices.
• Communicate project status, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, including senior management and sponsors.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Maintain and prioritize delivery backlogs for IT, data, and engineering teams.
• Creative problem solving to move the work forward within the constraints present.

Experience Requirements:

• 5+ years of project management experience in IT and/or Supply Chain environments.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with financial systems, ERP implementations, and IT infrastructure projects is a plus.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
