Job summary

Kaeppel Consulting, LLC is seeking an IT Operations Analyst to support a client in Erie, PA. The role involves administrative and operational support under ATSS administrators and leadership, focusing on ServiceNow requests, asset management, and network/system administration.

The successful candidate will login to servers and devices for configuration, backups, firmware and software updates, and create backup configurations and documentation.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with general networking & Systems Administration.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, review, analysis and optimization of current and future processes. Contributes to continuous improvement efforts by assisting in evaluation, development, and support for the implementation of recommended process and system changes.
• Analyzes, defines and documents process workflows through user interviews, facilitated workshops and subject matter expert engagement.
• Participates in the development of future business processes needed to support new products and/or services.
• Documents future processes to determine how to proactively improve current business for the development of future procedures and models.

Kaeppel Consulting is in immediate need of an IT Operations Analyst to support one of our preferred clients in Erie, PA.

Contracted resources will perform administrative and operational support functions under the direction of ATSS administrators and leadership.

Skill Sets Needed

Configure & Troubleshoot Network

• Devices

• Application specific workstations

Point of contact for dedicated systems, servers, applications, and software.

Collaborate with CP&M departments with creating SOPs & Process Documents

Asset Management

• Configure and prepare assets for deployment


• Support asset procurement, receiving, and inventory processes


• Assist with asset decommissioning and disposal activities

Administrative Operations

• Submit and track move, add, and change requests


• Perform recurring maintenance activities


• Execute documentation audits and remediation efforts


• Maintain operational records and task tracking

Support Services

• Provide administrative \"hands-and-feet\" support


• Perform Tier 1 ticket triage and fulfillment


• Escalate issues to appropriate technical resources as needed

Operational Excellence

• Support preventative maintenance initiatives


• Assist with compliance-related activities


• Contribute to documentation and process improvement efforts


• Support knowledge management and cross-training initiatives

Duties and Responsibilities

Generates and compiles reports, complete with recommended improvements to business processes and operational procedures. Assists in building the business case for a process or system change and provides input into the change management and implementation.
