  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and programming languages.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
  • Strong working knowledge of AI current landscape and how to leverage platforms to optimize daily work.
  • Familiarity with blockchain and IoT technologies.
  • Skilled in project management and vendor management.

Job description

The Information Technology Manager (IT Manager) is responsible for overseeing the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund’s technology strategy, managing IT infrastructure, leading digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring effective use of the technology to achieve business objectives.

Reports To: VP of Organizational Systems & Strategy

FLSA Status: Exempt

Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Internal IT/IS Leader
  • Responsible for cross organization collaboration to develop and execute technology strategies aligned with the organization’s overall objectives. This involves identifying opportunities for leveraging technology to drive innovation and improve efficiency.
  • They collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and programs, to understand their technological needs and priorities. They communicate technology initiatives, solicit feedback, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • As a sector expert, the IT Manager provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the broader organization. They inspire and motivate team members, foster professional development and training, and cultivate a positive work environment.
Manager and Optimizer of all Managed Service Providers
  • Including but not limited to SBS Cybersecurity and Mainstay Technologies.
  • These vendors are responsible for supporting and managing the organization's IT security posture and response, implementation and partnership in the development of our long term IT Strategic plan, daily tech support needs, and Infrastructure management; Including hardware, software, networks and cloud services.
  • This involves ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of all IT systems to support business operations effectively and efficiently.
Digital Transformation and Growth
  • Plays a key role in leading digital transformation initiatives within the organization. This may include modernizing legacy systems, adopting emerging technologies, and implementing digital solutions to enhance customer experiences and streamline internal/external processes.
  • Stays abreast of technological trends and advancements, evaluating emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT) for potential adoption. They assess how these technologies can drive innovation and create value for the organization.

They are responsible for safeguarding the organization’s data assets and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GLBR, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS. This involves implementing security measures, conducting risk assessments, and developing data protection policies and procedures.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar required.
  • At least ten years of experience managing an IT department with remote staff and dynamic priorities.
  • Excellence in M365 to include Azure, Entra, SharePoint, Teams and Intune, Zoom, IT systems, infrastructure, and architecture.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and programming languages.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
  • Strong working knowledge of the artificial intelligence current landscape, ability to leverage approved platforms to optimize daily work for both IT and the broader org.
  • Familiarity of emerging technologies such as blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
  • Skilled in project management with a track record of success.
  • Effective resource and vendor manager.

  • Salary Range: $79,000 to $93,000
