The IT Application Software Engineer Intern supports the Information Technology organization by contributing to the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise applications and related digital capabilities. Working alongside IT team members and cross-functional stakeholders, the intern helps evaluate business needs, analyze system workflows, and translate requirements into well-defined technical tasks and user-centered solutions that improve usability, reliability, and adoption. The role may include developing or updating application components, configurations, and supporting technical artifacts (e.g., documentation, runbooks, and user support materials), as well as assisting with testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
