Job summary

Flynn Group is seeking a Restaurant IT Field Service Technician (Level 1) to support Taco Bell, Applebee's, and Wendy's locations in the Indianapolis market. You will repair, install, and maintain POS systems and related IT equipment at busy restaurants.

The role requires hands-on technical work, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality service and keeping operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• General computer knowledge (Windows/DOS) required.
• Basic cabling and networking knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to restaurant locations to repair, service, and maintain IT equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and installation projects.
• Troubleshoot POS systems, computers, peripherals, cabling, and basic networks.
• Test systems to ensure full functionality.
• Support restaurant teams with technical issues and questions.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for critical system issues.
• Work independently while meeting quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.

Flynn Group is hiring a Restaurant IT Field Service Technician (Level 1) to support our Taco Bell, Applebee's, and Wendy's locations across the Indianapolis market. You’ll be the go‑to tech keeping restaurant systems up and running so teams can focus on serving guests.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Travel to restaurant locations to repair, service, and maintain IT equipment

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• General computer knowledge (Windows/DOS)

• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Able to work on a 6’–8’ ladder
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs regularly
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and good driving record
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
