Role Description The Information Technology Field Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Puerto Rico. This role is responsible for visiting client locations to install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, printers, and related hardware. The technician will perform diagnostics, troubleshoot technical issues, and carry out computer repairs to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. Daily tasks include responding to support requests, documenting work performed, coordinating with the broader IT team, and providing clear, user-friendly guidance to end users. The role requires travel to client sites within Puerto Rico and adherence to company standards for service quality, safety, and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Strong Technical Support skills, including end-user assistance and incident resolution.
• Hands-on experience with Desktop Computers, including installation, configuration, and basic networking.
• Proficiency in Printer Support, including setup, maintenance, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated Troubleshooting and Computer Repair abilities for hardware and basic software issues.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and common business applications.
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple service tickets.
• Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to client sites in Puerto Rico.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, IT support certifications) are a plus.
• Previous experience in an IT field technician or similar on-site support role is preferred.
