The Role

QCS is hiring an IT Support Field Technician to provide onsite IT support for small and mid‑sized businesses across Central Florida. This field‑based role is ideal for a technician who enjoys hands‑on problem solving and delivering dependable, face‑to‑face support.

The Kissimmee office serves as your home base, with regular local travel to client sites. You will work independently in the field while collaborating with our internal team to ensure consistent, high‑quality service.

What You’ll Do

• Travel to client sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and related IT equipment
• Install and configure operating systems, software applications, and peripheral devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Windows, macOS, and basic networking environments
• Support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace user environments, including account management, email configuration, and applying basic security settings per documented standards
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users in professional, client‑facing settings
• Document service calls, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions using a ticketing system
• Provide backup support for Help Desk operations and ticket resolution as needed
• Work across diverse SMB client environments with varying technologies and support needs
• Follow company standards and contribute to a positive, team‑oriented service culture

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of hands‑on IT support experience, including onsite or field work
• Strong troubleshooting skills with computer hardware, Windows and macOS, printers, and basic networking
• Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace user environments
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with clients
• Professional, adaptable, and dependable work style
• Valid Florida driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs
• Ability to pass required background screenings for employment and client‑site work
