Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking an autonomous Technical Program Manager to set the standard for program execution across our engineering organization in Foster City, CA. You will partner with senior engineering and product leadership to drive strategic initiatives spanning multiple teams, systems, and business lines.

You will define and evolve PM frameworks, manage risks, and communicate complex technical concepts to executives, while contributing to architectural discussions and AI-enabled decision

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Seven+ years of experience in technical program management delivering complex, organization-wide engineering programs.
• Deep expertise managing multi-team software programs across the full SDLC, including platform, infrastructure, or product initiatives.
• Experience using AI tools to inform technical decisions, knowledge of agentic AI models, and experience executing programs with AI chatbots.
• Proficiency in wireless technologies (4G/5G/Multi-WAN Load Balancing), networking (UDP/TCP, NAT Traversal, Network Security like mTLS), and data pipelines (Kafka/Kafkajs, Protobuf, AWS)

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program management for large-scale, multi-team engineering initiatives from strategy through delivery.
• Partner with executive engineering and product leaders to influence roadmaps, resourcing, and priorities.
