Job summary

JCS Solutions LLC seeks an experienced Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the NMCC Cybersecurity Team in Arlington, VA. The role provides cybersecurity engineering across enterprise environments, including HBSS and ACAS, with a TS/SCI clearance and a strong systems engineering background.

The position involves risk identification, security assessments, and guiding secure architecture initiatives to support mission-critical operations for the national security domain.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Current Security+ certification (or DoD 8140 IAT II): CompTIA Security+ CE and related certs.
• 3+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years systems engineering.
• Ability to identify security risks across information systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot complex information technology systems.
• Perform and review technical security assessments of computing environments.
• Lead security solution development from requirements to deployment.
• Configure and patch HBSS Windows servers and ACAS RHEL servers.
• Analyze ACAS scan results and support remediation of findings.
• Obtain and manage licenses for HBSS ePO and Tenable platforms.
• Ensure STIG compliance across Windows and RHEL systems.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and SCAP scans.
