Job summary

TekSynap Corporation in Arlington, VA seeks an ISSE to provide cyber security and security engineering services for the NMCC, including system security engineering, cybersecurity risk assessments, and security architecture support.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, CompTIA Security+, a 5+ year track record in systems engineering, and hands-on work with HBSS/ePO, ACAS, Nessus. You will design and deploy security solutions and lead projects from requirements through deployment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform or review security assessments of computing environments for vulnerabilities and non-compliance.
• Build, deploy, patch HBSS Windows and ACAS RedHat Linux servers.
• Maintain and patch ePO, Security Center, Nessus servers.
• Provide Security Center accounts for Vulnerability Managers.
• Run SCAP scans on Windows and RHEL servers.
• Lead development of technical solutions from requirements to deployment.
