Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in security, IT, business, or related field and 7+ years in information security governance or risk management.
• Experience with federal/state security requirements (CMS, ARC-AMPE, HIPAA) preferred.
• Ability to lead security policy development, vendor oversight, and project governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of the agency's security program.
• Manage IT projects, policy decisions, and reporting for application support functions.
• Coordinate with federal/state agencies and internal ISO on security compliance.
• Supervise staff, assign workloads, and manage performance and disciplinary actions.
• Oversee carrier onboarding, account transfers, reconciliations, and system responses.
• Resolve system problems and coordinate security-related audits and remediation.
• Utilize vendor management to meet organizational goals.
