JobCenter in Las Vegas is hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the security of our information systems and data, conducting risk assessments, implementing security measures, and monitoring for threats or breaches.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of information security principles, experience with risk assessment methodologies, and familiarity with regulations such as HIPAA and PCI-DSS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of information security principles, best practices, and industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of network and system security protocols (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments and their security risks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities
• Develop and implement security measures to protect against threats or breaches
• Monitor networks and systems for any suspicious activity or unauthorized access
