Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or closely related field.
• Three years of professional IT experience relevant to the duties of the position (journey level from the start).
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Co-manage and maintain the statewide Nevada Camera/Card Access System (NCAS) including access control and video surveillance across state facilities.
• Ensure security, integrity, and operational efficiency of physical access and camera systems.
• Train partition administrators and coordinate with departments using NCAS for proper use.
• Implement and enforce access and video surveillance security protocols and policies in compliance with State standards.
• Coordinate with vendors and agencies on new building installations and maintenance issues.
