Job summary

Olin Corporation is seeking an Information Security Co-Op for a 6-month term in Clayton, MO. The role focuses on supporting security operations, incident response, and tool administration while working on multiple hands-on projects.

The program targets undergraduates or graduates in Cybersecurity, Networking, or Computer Science with a minimum 3.0 GPA. A valid US driver's license is required and housing stipend is available.

Qualifications

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale; official transcript required each term.
  • Exposure to SAP and/or Cyber concepts preferred.
  • Sophomore year completed (60 credits) prior to first rotation.
  • Full-time availability (40 hours/week during rotation); not eligible for virtual work.
  • Valid US driver’s license required.

Title: Information Security 6-Month Co-Op (June-December)

Location: Clayton, MO

Salary: $30.00 / hour for undergraduate students; $33.00 / hour for graduate students

Focus

The Information Security Co-Op supports the security team in protecting organizational systems, networks, and data by assisting with security operations including monitoring, incident response, compliance activities, and security tool administration.

What You'll Do
  • Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need.
  • Assist security management and engineering teams with configuration and implementation of hardware and software.
  • Understand and communicate solutions to users and administer security-based tools and related infrastructure.
  • Assist with trend reporting, data analysis, security compliance audits, communications, and updating security policies and procedures.
What You'll Bring
  • Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Cybersecurity, Networking, or Computer Science degree program (or pending enrollment in a Master's program in one of these disciplines).
  • Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
  • Exposure to SAP and/or Cyber concepts preferred.
  • Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with Olin.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) during rotation; Not eligible for virtual work.
  • Must possess a valid US Driver's license.
