Job summary

• Bachelor’s degree or at least two years of related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Understand and articulate information governance obligations to firm stakeholders.
• Resolve inquiries relating to information governance policies.
• Coordinate transfer and collection of materials for attorney departures, lateral acquisitions, legal holds, or client transfers.
• Transfer electronic records to/from iManage and related repositories.
• Ensure data and metadata are imported, classified and assigned to correct client/matter workspaces.
• Document and classify outbound off-boarding transfers for due diligence tracking (ServiceNow).
• Develop and maintain relationships with attorneys during onboarding/offboarding.
• Work with FTP (Titan File), security tools (7-zip), Prosperoware Milan metadata, and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with Legal and Business Operations.
• Develop and implement governance compliance procedures and internal controls.
• Coordinate security for workspaces/folders within governance systems.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
