Influencer & Social Media Marketing Manager

Award-winning, global premium consumer goods company is expanding its marketing team and seeking an Influencer & Social Media Marketing Manager to help drive the growth of one of its most dynamic brands.

This is a hybrid role based in New York City, offering the opportunity to work closely with a global marketing and communications team known for its energy, ambition, and cultural savvy.

About the Influencer & Social Media Marketing Manager:

We’re looking for a marketer who is fluent in culture and understands how to build authentic brand moments across social media and through influencer partnerships, and how to blend those efforts into organic campaigns that drive consumer buzz and brand love.

You’ll shape storytelling, deepen cultural relevance, and lead with creativity — especially in earned and organic channels — to deliver highly visible, high-impact campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute social media strategy with an emphasis on earned and organic growth, developing platform-specific content calendars that drive engagement and follower growth.
  • Build and manage influencer programs that prioritize unpaid and gifted partnerships, while identifying when paid collaborations can extend reach.
  • Cultivate relationships with tastemakers, creators, and cultural connectors to generate authentic, buzzworthy content.
  • Partner with PR and digital teams to ensure earned media and influencer efforts are aligned with broader brand messaging.
  • Manage events and seeding moments with influencers that reflect the brand’s premium positioning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across content, paid media, digital marketing, PR, and creative to ensure integrated campaign execution.
  • Track and report on performance of influencer content and social campaigns, with an eye toward quality of engagement, sentiment, and ROI, not just impressions.
  • Identify strategic brand partnerships that can fuel earned media and social storytelling across lifestyle, culture, and entertainment.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5 - 7 years of influencer and/or social media marketing experience in consumer goods, CPG/FMCG, luxury, wine & spirits, or lifestyle-driven brands.
  • Deep experience in organic social media strategy, influencer engagement, and earned-first campaign development.
  • A proven ability to turn cultural insights into actionable ideas that earn attention — not just buy it.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms with a focus on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Highly collaborative with strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for culture, music, and digital trends — and the ability to spot opportunities before they become mainstream.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to building from the ground up.
  • Experience with luxury or celebrity brand partnerships is a plus.

Location: New York City (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 remote)

Salary Range (DOE): $90,000 - $110,000 + bonus
