Job summary

Frontier Airlines is seeking a capable leader to oversee all aspects of flight attendant base operations, ensuring regulatory and customer-experience policy compliance while guiding Inflight Base Supervisors and Flight Attendants to fulfill Frontier’s mission.

You will develop teams, evaluate frontline performance, coach staff, and collaborate with Regional HR and Ops leaders on policy, scheduling and training to support a safe, reliable travel experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in a leadership role
• Must have previous Flight Attendant experience and maintain currency as a Frontier Airlines Flight Attendant
• Experience working with union representatives and grievance hearings preferred
• Proficiency in CrewTrac and MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Oversee crew base operations including daily inflight operations, station on-time and head start performance, and flight attendant engagement and performance for 700+ crewmembers
• Develop the Inflight Base Supervisory team through engagement, mentoring, coaching, and counseling
• Evaluate frontline crewmember performance in accordance with published department and company policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, appearance and image standards, and customer experience standards
• Anticipate Inflight Services department-related needs and respond accordingly
• Develop initiatives to meet or beat goal performance metrics
• Hire, develop, and mentor Inflight base leadership staff, and flight attendants
• Assist the Regional Manager and Director, Inflight Operations with special projects, as needed
• Represent Inflight Operations department as needed and lead Flight Attendant Engagement Team
• Serve as Inflight Operations liaison with local Airport Customer Service leaders and frontline team members
• Educate, train, and enforce accountability of Flight Attendants in all aspects of department policy, procedures, and protocol
• Formally coach and counsel direct reports and frontline team members to ensure company standards are met
• Establish collaborative working relationships with other department leaders, flight attendants, and local AFA leadership team members
• Provide Inflight Department policy guidance. Assist in conducting interviews for special project functions, recruiters, line check attendants, and instructors. Provide operational coverage and backup to Inflight Base Supervisors as needed
• Conduct new hire orientation and familiarization to line operations. Analyze trends and patterns, provide reporting tools as needed. Collaborate with Human Resources Department
• Communicate regularly with Regional Manager, Inflight Services, Manager of Policies and Procedures, Manager, Inflight Training and Crew Scheduling personnel
• Conduct investigatory hearings and issue corrective action as applicable and necessary
• Provide support to Crew Resources in maintaining flight schedules during normal and abnormal operations
• Responsible for meeting all operational deadlines
• Responsible for base operating and capital budget and spending
• Cross-train for other job functions as designated by the Regional Manager, Inflight Services
• On-call and reachable 24 / 7 as necessary to meet the needs of the operation
• Responsible for the Company’s Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager and Director, Inflight Operations
