Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Crew Manager, Inflight Performance in Charlotte (CLT). The person will supervise and coordinate flight attendants' performance, investigate concerns, ensure policy interpretation consistency, and help staff understand performance rules.

The role involves coaching, disciplinary actions up to dismissal, and supporting Inflight initiatives. On-site work at the CLT base is required, with opportunities to contribute to the Performance team's future direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to work shift work, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work on-site at assigned base/location.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day performance reports for an assigned group of flight attendants.
• Leads all performance conversations and updates/documents flight attendants’ record in the Attendance and Performance System (APS).
• Ensures flight attendants understand and comply with Inflight policies, procedures, and regulations
• Provides coaching and counseling to flight attendants to address performance concerns.
• Implements appropriate action for violations, up to and including dismissal.
• Supports Inflight initiatives related to flight attendant performance.
• Participates in task forces to problem solve and plan the future direction of the Performance team.
