Job summary

Amgen seeks a Scientist in inflammation research to perform in vitro and in vivo experiments, testing drug targets in mouse models of inflammatory disease and analyzing lung epithelium function. Qualifications

• PhD strongly preferred in epithelial biology and inflammation.
• Experience performing in vitro and in vivo experiments.
• Strong publication record or contributions to therapeutic development programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform both in vitro and in vivo experiments.
• Generate high-quality experimental data to support target identification, validation and progression of Inflammation programs.
• Propose drug targets for respiratory diseases integrating human genetics, in vitro/in vivo studies, and literature.
• Use AI-driven approaches to generate mechanistic insights and guide experimental design.
• Balance scientific rigor with urgency and adaptability in a dynamic research environment.
• Publish and present at conferences.
