Job summary

HealthPartners is hiring a Clinical Pharmacist Infectious Diseases Specialist to advance antimicrobial stewardship across 8 hospitals and numerous clinics. The role involves clinical consultation, education, and leadership of ASP initiatives within the network.

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team including ID physicians, infection prevention, microbiology, and IT to improve care quality and resource use across our system.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited university or foreign credential with FPGEE/FPGEC certification.
• Specialized residency or fellowship in infectious diseases or at least 1 year in a dedicated ID role.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical patient case consultation in infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship.
• Educate staff and patients on evidence-based antimicrobial practices.
• Lead system antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and drive quality improvements.
• Collaborate with ID physicians, infection prevention, microbiology, medicine, nursing and IT.
