Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking an Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship (ID/ASP) Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to lead pharmacotherapy recommendations and optimize antimicrobial use across the hospital. You will collaborate with the Infectious Disease Service and participate in interdisciplinary rounds to improve patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy (ACPE preferred).
• Florida pharmacist license in good standing.
• AHA BLS in good standing.
• Two years of clinical hospital pharmacy experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care recommendations on pharmacotherapy and optimize drug therapy.
• Assess drug interactions, dosages, and guideline-directed therapies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in rounds.
• Develop and implement antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and formulary management.
