Job summary

HealthPartners seeks a Clinical Pharmacist Infectious Diseases Specialist to advance antimicrobial stewardship across its health system. The role focuses on optimizing diagnostics, therapy and outcomes with ID physicians and ASP leadership.

Located within a 8-hospital network, the position includes cross-regional collaboration, education duties and ongoing program development to improve care quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from ACPE-accredited university or foreign equivalent with FPGEE/FPGEC certification.
• Specialized residency/fellowship in infectious diseases or at least 1 year dedicated ID role experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in antimicrobial stewardship initiatives across multiple hospitals and clinics.
• Provide clinical consultation and education to staff and patients on infectious diseases.
• Drive data-driven improvements in patient care and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with infection prevention, microbiology, medicine and IT to standardize practices.
• Support system antimicrobial stewardship leadership and ASP program development.
