Job summary
HealthPartners is hiring a Clinical Pharmacist Infectious Diseases Specialist to join the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. The role focuses on improving antimicrobial use and patient outcomes across hospitals and clinics within the HealthPartners network.
The regional ID pharmacists collaborate with ID physicians, infection prevention, microbiology, and IT to enhance care quality and resource utilization; leadership and education are essential components of this role.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited university OR graduate from a foreign college with five-year curriculum, FPGEE/FPGEC certification.
- Specialized residency or fellowship in infectious diseases or at least 1 year in a dedicated infectious diseases role.
- Pharmacist licensed or eligible in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Clinical patient case consultation and education of staff or patients.
- Promotion of evidence-based medicine and leadership of antimicrobial stewardship initiatives.
- Standardization of practices across the health system.
- Generate data to drive improvements in patient care and resource utilization.
