Job summary

AllSTEM Connections seeks an Infectious Disease Scientist - II for a 12-month+ onsite assignment in West Point, PA. The contractor will join the Infectious Disease and Vaccines group to support virology assays and vaccine programs.

Requirements include a BS/BA with 6 years, MS with 4 years, or PhD with 1 year hands-on experience, plus at least 3 years of lab experience and ability to work onsite with bloodborne pathogen screening considerations.

Qualifications

Minimum degree: BS/BA with 6 years; MS with 4 years in a biological science related major.
PhD with at least 1 year hands-on experience with required skill set is must.
At least 3 years performing laboratory research outside of degree.

Responsibilities

Run ELISAs, viral plaque reduction assays, and serum neutralization assays.
Generate viral stocks and manage internal/external shipments and sample inventory.
Provide overall laboratory support for the Infectious Disease and Vaccines group.
Support pre-clinical vaccine programs using targeted virology assays.
