Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a contractor for the Infectious Disease and Vaccines department in the vaccines group. This is a 100% lab-based onsite role.

The contractor will perform ELISAs, viral plaque reduction assays, and serum neutralization assays, generate viral stocks, and manage shipments and sample inventory in a fast-paced lab setting.

Qualifications

• BS/BA minimum degree
• MS-4 years in a biological science related major
• PhD with at least 1 year hands-on expertise with required skill set
• At least 3 years performing laboratory research outside of degree
• Required skills include Virological assay support, tissue/cell culture and ELISAs
• Preferred GraphPad Prism, Electronic lab notebook

Responsibilities

• Run ELISAs, viral plaque reduction assays, and serum neutralization assays.
• Generate viral stocks and manage internal/external shipments.
• Maintain sample inventory and provide overall laboratory support.

Overall Responsibilities

We are seeking a contractor to join the Infectious Disease and Vaccines department in the vaccines group.

The overarching goal of the group is to test pre-clinical vaccine candidates in animal models to help advance our viral vaccine programs.

The contractor will be responsible for running ELISAs, viral plaque reduction assays, serum neutralization assays, generating viral stocks, managing internal, external shipments, sample inventory and overall laboratory support.
