Job summary

Nationwide-Children is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 0.9 FTE night shift role in Columbus, Ohio. The position runs 7pm–7am with weekend and holiday requirements, focusing on safe, efficient patient flow and family-centered care.

BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years is required, and Ohio RN licensure is mandatory. CPR certification is required, with willingness to obtain NRP, PALS, ACLS or other certifications as determined by the unit manager.

Qualifications

• BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other necessary certification as determined by manager.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assess individualized patient needs and communicate priorities to LPNs, PCAs, and other staff.
• Plan, implement, educate and evaluate care using evidence-based practices.
