Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a leader to direct and coordinate administrative and clinical services for assigned practices as part of a dyad leadership model. You will provide 24-hour accountability and oversee operations, safety, and patient care while aligning with Virtua and affiliated programs.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and drive patient access and satisfaction within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in a medical practice or ambulatory medical setting as a Lead, Office Coordinator or Supervisor is required.
• Knowledge of insurance including ICD-9/CPT coding, Medicare regulations, state regulations, CLIA, DOH, OSHA preferred.
• Solid knowledge of billing and health insurance guidelines for commercial, Medicare and managed care payers.
• Experience with electronic medical records, scheduling, charging and billing systems.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily/monthly expenditures, staffing and overtime; ensure front-end policies and charge entry, PAQs, and inbox management.
• Identify opportunities to increase patient volume while controlling expenses and implement improvement plans.
• Develop and maintain budgets; explain variances and take corrective actions with practice leadership.
• Prepare reports and support KPI goals; monitor CME and PTO records; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Supervise office staff; recruit, train, coach and develop personnel; manage payroll and scheduling.
