Job summary

Virtua Health in New Jersey is seeking a Practice Administrator to direct administrative and clinical services for assigned practices within the dyad leadership model. You will oversee 24‑hour accountability and day‑to‑day operations to ensure safety, quality care and efficient systems.

You will collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize access, drive budgets, and support growth while maintaining regulatory compliance and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in a medical practice as Lead, Office Coordinator or Supervisor.
• Knowledge of ICD-9/CPT coding, Medicare regulations, state regulations, CLIA, DOH, OSHA.
• Strong billing and health insurance guidelines experience.
• Experience using electronic medical records, scheduling, charging and billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily/monthly expenditures, staffing and overtime hours.
• Ensures compliance with front-end policies and revenue cycle tasks.
• Develops and maintains practice budgets with lead physicians.
• Prepares daily/weekly/monthly reports and supports reimbursement metrics.
• Improves patient access and customer experience across the practice.
