Job summary

Healthcare Center Wellness Clinic in St. Augustine, FL seeks a Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Infectious Disease Physician for outpatient care. You will join a fully staffed, mission-driven team dedicated to serving the local community.

The role emphasizes no nights or weekends, outpatient focus, with base salary between 250k and 290k plus bonuses and comprehensive benefits. You must be board-certified and licensed, with DEA and Furnishing credentials, and comfortable seeing 14–18

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active medical license.
• Valid DEA registration and Furnishing license.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no‑shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Document visits the same day or within 72 hours with accurate E&M billing codes.
• Deliver primary care services for chronic conditions and acute issues.
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff for urgent care and walk‑ins.
• Review consultant reports, imaging, and lab results promptly.
• Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.
• Monitor and respond to voicemails/e-mails daily.
• Support patient retention efforts with retention summaries.
• Supervise mid‑level providers, including chart reviews or audits as required.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
• Full-time physicians receive 4 hours of protected administrative time per week.
