Job summary

One Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Infectious Disease Physician to join Newland Medical Associates in Oakland County, Michigan. The physician will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for a broad range of infectious diseases in a collaborative clinical setting.

Qualified candidates have completed an ACGME-accredited Infectious Disease Fellowship, are board-certified or eligible, and hold or qualify for a Michigan medical license.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Fellowship in Infectious Disease with board eligibility/certification.
• Active or eligible Michigan medical license.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Infectious Disease.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility.
• Current BLS certification or eligibility.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage infectious diseases.
• Obtain histories and perform physical examinations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostics and patient goals.
• Order, review, and interpret labs, cultures, imaging and other studies.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, prevention, and follow-up.
• Coordinate care with other clinicians and healthcare teams.
• Maintain complete medical records and comply with regulatory requirements.
