Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Pontiac, Michigan, seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Infectious Diseases physician for a full-time, inpatient-focused position at Trinity Health Oakland. The role includes teaching Internal Medicine residents and medical students, with potential academic appointment, and a shared call schedule, in a hospital that serves southeast Michigan.

You will join an existing ID physician as a partner to help grow a hospital-employed program.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease.
• Active Michigan medical license or ability to obtain prior to start.
• DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct inpatient infectious disease consultation across medical and surgical services.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including pharmacy, nursing, and surgical specialties.
• Teaching and mentoring Internal Medicine residents and medical students.
• Documenting in Epic EMR.
• Engaging in quality improvement and patient safety efforts.
• Contributing to the growth of a hospital-employed ID program.
