Job summary

One Health Partners PLLC and Newland Medical Associates in Oakland County, Michigan, invite a fellowship-trained Rheumatologist to join our growing team. You will evaluate and manage a broad range of rheumatic and autoimmune conditions in a patient-centered setting.

The ideal candidate has completed an ACGME Rheumatology Fellowship, is board-certified or eligible, and holds an unrestricted Michigan license.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Rheumatology Fellowship.
• Current or eligible MI medical license prior to employment.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Rheumatology.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS certification, or ability to obtain as required.
• Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with rheumatic, autoimmune, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Obtain comprehensive histories, perform exams, assess disease activity and progression.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on findings, diagnostics, and patient goals.
• Order, review, and interpret labs, imaging, and other studies.
• Prescribe and manage medications, including immunomodulatory and biologic therapies.
• Monitor treatment response and safety; coordinate disease surveillance.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, options, risks, and long-term management.
• Provide timely follow-up on tests, messages, and status changes.
• Coordinate care with primary care, specialists, infusion services, and others.
• Maintain complete medical records and comply with regulations.
