Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Infectious Disease Physician to join Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. The role combines complex clinical practice with multidisciplinary program development and growth.

You will shape ID services for expanding Bone Marrow Transplant and hematology programs, build protocols, and collaborate across surgery, transplant, oncology, critical care, pharmacy, and infection prevention.

Qualifications

• Doctoral/MD or DO degree required.
• Accredited residency in Internal Medicine completed.
• ACGME/AOA Infectious Disease fellowship completed or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage infectious diseases in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Develop and implement infection-management guidelines and care pathways.
• Collaborate with transplant, hematology, oncology, critical care, pharmacy, and infection prevention teams.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary conferences and program development.
