Job summary

Allina Health Cancer Institute in the Minneapolis–St. Paul region is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to join our mission of innovative, patient-centered cancer care.

This full-time role spans inpatient and outpatient care across Lakeville and Faribault, MN, with rounds at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Join a cohesive team of oncologists and specialists, supported by a robust genomic lab, tumor boards, and nurse navigators.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or foreign equivalency training required.
• ACGME hematology/oncology fellowship training required.
• BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required.
• Active MN medical license (or ability to obtain).
• MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI) ability to obtain/maintain.
• Credentialing and hospital privileges eligibility required.
• BLS certification within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.
• Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities.
• Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management.
• Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or work flows.
• May participate in peer review and quality assurance.
