Fairview Health Services is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist for the Infectious Diseases Diagnostic Laboratory (IDDL) in the Mayo building at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center-East Bank. This is a 10-hour night shift (Thu–Wed, 8:30 pm–7:00 am) with every other weekend and rotating holidays; phlebotomy not required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or higher in a laboratory field with practicum or equivalent.
• Eligibility for MLS/MT certification per CLIA and state requirements.
• Significant coursework in biology and chemistry.

Aufgaben

• Perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic testing across microbiology and virology.
• Operate instruments and information systems per procedures and maintain equipment.
• Communicate abnormal results to caregivers and collaborate with the care team.
• Contribute to QA, performance improvement and regulatory compliance.
