Job summary

RRC Solutions Group seeks a Medical Director in Infectious Disease to lead outpatient care at our St. Augustine, FL facility. The role requires an MD/DO with active license, state‑level DEA and Furnishing licenses, and experience in outpatient primary care.

You will oversee patient flow, ensure timely documentation, manage chronic and acute conditions, and supervise PAs/NPs. Expect collaboration with care teams and a strong emphasis on quality, access, and patient retention.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with active state medical license.
• DEA registration and Furnishing license required.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported setting.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage 14–18 patients per 8‑hour shift (or proportional for longer shifts).
• Oversee patient scheduling to minimize no‑shows and meet productivity targets.
• Complete documentation on the same day or within 72 hours with accurate billing codes.
• Provide primary care for chronic and acute conditions (e.g., HIV, STIs, hypertension).
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff for urgent care and walk-ins.
• Review consultant reports, imaging, and lab results promptly.
• Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.
• Monitor voicemails/emails daily and support patient retention efforts.
• Supervise PAs and NPs with chart reviews or audits as required.
• Provide after‑hours on‑call coverage; 4 hours weekly of protected administrative time.
