KLA Industries, Inc. in St. Augustine, FL seeks a Medical Director (Infectious Disease/Family Practice/Internal Medicine) for our outpatient facility. You will join a fully staffed, mission-driven team serving the local community.

Responsibilities include high-quality care, productivity targets, and collaboration with the care team. Board-certified MD/DO with active license and DEA is required, with on-site duties and no night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold MD or DO with an active medical license.
• Must have CPR/BLS certification.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Complete same-day or 72-hour documentation, including E/M billing codes.
• Deliver primary care for chronic conditions and acute issues.
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff for urgent care and walk-ins.
• Review consultant reports, imaging, and lab results promptly.
• Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.
• Monitor voicemails and emails daily.
• Support patient retention efforts with retention summaries.
• Supervise mid-level providers (PAs and NPs).
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage; 4 hours of protected admin time weekly for full-time physicians.
