Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough infection control assessments and develop plans to prevent and control infections.
• Identify and investigate potential outbreaks and implement corrective actions to prevent further spread.
• Develop and implement evidence-based infection prevention and control protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of infection prevention and control measures.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, staff, and residents to educate on infection prevention and control practices.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on infection control procedures.
• Develop and maintain infection control policies and procedures.
• Conduct quality improvement initiatives to reduce infection rates and improve patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
