Job summary

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois.

• Minimum 0 years of experience as an Infection Preventionist or in a related field.
• Knowledge of infection prevention and control principles, practices and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct infection control assessments and develop prevention plans.
• Identify outbreaks and implement corrective actions to prevent spread.
• Develop and implement infection prevention protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate infection control measures.
• Educate staff, providers and residents on infection prevention practices.
• Provide training to staff on infection control procedures.
• Develop and maintain infection control policies and procedures.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to reduce infections and improve outcomes.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
