OSF HealthCare is seeking an Infection Preventionist to lead infection prevention, control, and education within the Quality & Safety program across the entity. This role conducts patient reviews, analyzes clinical care, and promotes evidence-based practices to prevent hospital-acquired infections.

Working with facility leadership, Mission Partners, nursing, medical staff, and ministry stakeholders, you will support regulatory readiness and help implement infection prevention policies and plans

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical field, public health, or related field is required.
• CIC certification required within 3 years of hire and maintained thereafter.
• Demonstrated knowledge of infection prevention principles, surveillance, and regulatory standards.

• Lead infection prevention, control, and education at the entity level within the Quality & Safety program.
• Collaborate with facility leadership, Mission Partners, nursing, and medical staff to prevent HAIs.
• Develop and deliver infection prevention policies, plans, and education; support regulatory readiness.
