Allaire Health Services is seeking an Infection Preventionist to join our dedicated team. The role oversees infection control across the organization, collaborates with clinicians and administrators to improve patient safety, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will lead surveillance, develop reports and policies, provide education, and contribute to continuous improvement in infection prevention and control practices.

Responsabilités

• Oversee infection control activities across the organization.
• Direct the performance improvement initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance (CMS, DNV, state, county).
• Work with clinicians and administrators to improve patient safety and systems-level outcomes.
• Coordinate infection control program surveillance, data analysis, and reporting.
• Develop reports, policies and procedures for infection prevention and control.
• Apply epidemiological methods to design and evaluate prevention strategies.
• Provide education to staff, physicians and community leaders.
• Lead surveillance activity discussions with the Infection Prevention and Control Committee.
• Conduct annual risk assessments considering regional vulnerabilities and new diseases.
• Notify health authorities of reportable diseases following procedures.
• Develop and implement improved patient care procedures related to infection control.
• Educate employees during orientation and annually on infection prevention practices.
