Job summary

Advocate Health seeks an Infection Prevention professional for 10121 Enterprise Corporate - Infection Prevention. This on-site, full-time role (40 hours/week) includes participation in regional on-call rotation and daily surveillance duties across facilities.

Strong data analysis and policy development skills are essential. The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s in Nursing or related field, have an active RN license, and ideally CIC certification within 3 years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or healthcare-related field.
• Current RN license in the applicable state.
• CIC certification preferred; must be obtained within 3 years of employment.
• 2+ years of clinical RN experience, preferably in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Abstracts data from patient charts for surveillance and studies.
• Reports epidemiological findings to department leadership and Medical Director.
• Maintains infection records and analyzes surveillance data.
• Develops and revises infection prevention policies based on data.
