Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Infection Prevention professional based in Georgia. The role supports Navicent Baldwin and Navicent Rehabilitation Hospital on-site, with participation in regional on-call rotation.

The position involves data abstraction, surveillance reporting, and policy development to prevent infections across care settings. RN licensure and English fluency are required; CIC preferred and must be obtained within 3 years.

Qualifications

• Must have a nursing degree and an RN license.
• CIC certification preferred and required within 3 years of employment.
• Strong data analysis and epidemiology knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Abstract data from patient charts for surveillance and statistics.
• Report epidemiological findings to leadership and Medical Director.
• Maintain infection data records and analyze surveillance data.
• Develop and implement infection prevention policies.
• Assist with investigations of exposures and bioterrorism readiness.
