Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group is seeking an experienced Infection Prevention Nurse for North Cascades Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bellingham, WA. This role focuses on tracking infections and educating staff on infection control policies to ensure regulatory compliance.

Required: Washington RN or LPN license; two years of nursing experience preferred, with long-term care and infection control experience valued. Supervisory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Required: RN/LPN license in Washington.
• Two years' nursing experience preferred.
• One year in long-term care preferred.
• One-year infection control experience preferred.
• Experience supervising.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and implements established facility policies, procedures and regulations.
• Observes and teaches infection control policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates consistent ability to identify issues.
• Participates in QA/QI meetings and resident care discussions.
• Maintains records and data for prompt retrieval.
