Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group is seeking an experienced Infection Prevention Nurse for North Cascades Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bellingham, WA. This role focuses on tracking infections and educating staff on infection control policies to ensure regulatory compliance.

Required: Washington RN or LPN license; two years of nursing experience preferred, with long-term care and infection control experience valued. Supervisory experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Required: RN/LPN license in Washington.
• Two years' nursing experience preferred.
• One year in long-term care preferred.
• One-year infection control experience preferred.
• Experience supervising.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

North Cascades Health and Rehabilitation Center is currently accepting applications for an experienced Infection Prevention Nurse to track and monitor infections in the facility and educate staff regarding infection control policies andprocedures.

Essential Functions:

• Interprets and implements established facility policies, procedures and regulations


• Observes and teaches the facility infection control policies and procedures


• Demonstrates consistent ability to identify issues


• Participates in and contributes meaningful information in all meetings relating to resident care and QA/QI in the facility.


• Maintains all records and data in a neat, organized manner for prompt retrieval.

Education, Licensure and Experience:

• Required: RN / LPN license in Washington


• Preferred: Two years' experience in nursing


• Preferred: One year in long-term care,


• Preferred: One-year experience with infection control


• Experience supervising
